Popular Nollywood actress, Shirley Igwe is in big trouble.
The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has suspended her and warned members to refrain from involving her in any film production.
AGN President, Emeka Rollas in a statemen said:
“Following our preliminary investigation into the allegation of violence levelled against actress Shirley Igwe on a film set in Lagos, the National Executive Council (NEC) has resolved to place her on indefinite suspension.”
“This suspension is due to her professional misconduct, violence and indiscipline – actions capable of discrediting the acting profession.”
“These offences contravenes the actors’ code of conduct and are punishable in accordance with constitutional provision.”
“Members are hereby directed to refrain from participation in any film production involving her.”
