Senator Ademola Adeleke In Certificate Scandal

Senator Ademola Adeleke, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant for the forthcoming Osun State gubernatorial election is now swimming in a certificate scandal.

Insiders said in 1981, one Ademola Adeleke registered for his May/June General Certificate of Examination (GCE) O’Level at the Muslim Grammar School, Ede. His Registration Number was 19645/149. He registered for Eight (8) subjects which includes Eng. Lang. Lit. In English, Islamic Studies, Geography, Biology, Econs, and Maths but he only sat for English Language. The rest subjects he allegedly didn’t write.

Sources said that the senator allegedly presented only testimonial to INEC and DSS when he ran for the senate. However, the law says a School Certificate or its equivalent as the minimum qualification to the contest the election.

Both INEC and DSS allowed him to go and come back with the original and photocopies of his acclaimed certificates – WAEC results and his acclaimed Jacksonville University degrees. However, the senator allegedly did not return to the DSS but instead went into the senatorial election and he won.

Sources squealed to us that the principal of the school where the senator claimed he attended, Mr. Khalid A. Abbas has allegedly denied issuing him the testimonial which he presented to INEC and DSS.

Besides, a formal enquiry made to the Jacksonville University in America also revealed that one Jackson Ademola Adeleke though, enrolled with the school in 1981 and was offered admission but did not complete his studies.
