Senator Ademola Adeleke who was arrested by the police on Monday, May 6^th, 2019 has been charged to an Abuja magistrates court for certificate forgery.

The lawmaker was taken to court on Tuesday, May 7^th, 2019 by the police. The senator has been battling with allegation of certificate forgery in the run-up to the governorship election in Osun State where he contested under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He was arrested by the police before the election but President Muhammadu Buhari waded into the case and ordered the police to release him.
