Former Governor Adamu Aliero of Kebbi State, now a senator is in big trouble.

Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle of Zamfara State has revoked a contract worth N25 billion awarded to Alliance Trading Company Limited belonging to Senator Adamu Aliero.

Besides, he has been ordered to refund the money or face prosecution.

Zamfara State Commissioner for Works, Ibrahim Isa Mayana disclosed that;

“Alliance Trading was awarded N25.992 billion contract for rural electrification across the 14 local government areas in 2013 and was paid N22.599 billion but the company abandoned the project after reaching just 67percent completion”
