Abeokuta township was agog Tuesday, 16th of July as drums were rolled out by the political followers of the former Governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba even as the celebrant was in Abuja.

The event which was held at his Ibara Housing Estate residence not only witnessed a massive turn out of ardent followers of the APC National leader but also accolades from well wishers who still admire the courage of the elder statesman in the current political face-off with the incumbent Governor of the State.

Aside attracting political bigwigs in the state, the celebration was also graced by the Ogun State Deputy Governor, Prince Segun Adesegun.

While addressing journalists at the occasion, Honourable Adekunle Adeyemi who is currently representing Ifo/Ewekoro  Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives describes Chief Osoba as a man of honour who is worthy of celebration.

The birthday which was celebrated amid pomp also featured an Abeokuta based top orchestral musician, Wasiu Otunba Alayo popularly known as Behula. Drinks and foods were also served in abundance.
