Prince Segun Oniru is the Honourable Commissioner for Waterfront and Infrastructure Development in Lagos State for the past 8years. The crown Prince of Oniru royal family in Lagos talked about his ministry achievements recently. He said that he oversees the Eko Atlantic project and ensures that developers keep to the agreement signed with the Lagos State government. He explained that the Eko Atlantic was possible because they were able to solve the coastal erosion of Ahmadu Bello Way and reclaimed the land from the sea.

Also, he revealed that he did a lot of work on Ozumba Mbadiwe and the waterfront there and that is why there is a lot of development going on there including Oriental Hotel and the new Civic Centre, Mr. Jim Ovia is building there.

That is not all, the commissioner said he reclaimed and developed Okunde Blue Water Scheme in Lekki and Maiyegun Tourism Scheme. He added that above all, his job as Commissioner for Waterfront and Infrastructure Development is to ensure that Lagos State waterfront is developed and protected and he has been doing that for years now.
