Embattled Senator Dino Melaye has been arrested by the Operatives of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS).

We gathered that the senator, representing Kogi West Senatorial District was picked up on Tuesday morning by the SARS and detained afterward in a facility opposite the old CBN junction in Abuja.

The troubled lawmaker early this morning tweeted… “I will make myself available to the police today. My resolve to speak the truth and defend the poor masses of NIGERIA is Total. We shall overcome!!!”

Recall also that on Monday the policemen and operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) besieged his residence in Abuja in a bid to arrest him; this is after the immigration officials also interrupted him aboard to Morocco on Monday morning at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
