This is not the best of times for Senate President Bukola Saraki as he has lost his bid for re-election into the Senate.

Information at our disposal has it that Saraki lost to Dr. Yahaya Oloriegbe of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Saturday, February 23, 2019 Senatorial election.

The Senate President who scored 68,994 votes in the four local governments of Kwara Central Senatorial District was outwitted by Oloriegbe who polled a total of 123, 808 votes to emerge winner.

President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmaad has quickly taken to his Twitter page to congratulate the APC candidate, Oloriegbe for conquering Saraki. He tweeted…
