Recently, there was a great atmosphere of joy in the camp of Nigerian singer, Douglas Jack Agu, popularly known as Runtown as news filtered in that the Federal High Court Abuja has passed a judgement in the favour of the musician, thus, restraining his former Record Label, Eric Many from interfering in his affairs.

Be that as it may, the management of Eric Many Limited has risen to the reports, the record label claimed that Runtown misled the public into thinking he claimed a victory over the company.

In a statement signed by the General Manager of Eric Many Limited, Johnson Adumike, it reads in part;

“It has come to the knowledge of Eric many Limited that our artiste, Douglas Jack Agu, alias ‘Runtown’, has taken to the social media, especially Twitter and Instagram, celebrating a supposed ‘victory’ in our case in Court. Runtown is telling lies.”

“Runtown did not win the case. He has not even filed a defence. His lawyers only challenged the jurisdiction of the Court, claiming that the case is supposed to go for arbitration.”
