Former Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State is in trouble as the State House of Assembly member, Kanayo Onyemaechi has called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate his eight years tenure as Governor and imprison him without delay.
He said; “If it were in the western world, people like Rochas Okorocha should be cooling off in prison for leadership rascality.”
“How can a man wake up one day and claim ownership of a university built with the state treasury. Okorocha committed so many leadership blunders that should warrant his arrest and imprisonment.”
“Okorocha’s eight years in Imo government was disastrous, wasteful, and fraudulent. He should be brought to public scrutiny.”
“Governor Hope Uzodinma should also delve into other government property illegally occupied by Okorocha including that of Rochas College of Africa Orji, the Spibat estate.”
“I thank Governor Uzodinma for recovering Eastern Palm University (EPU) to Imo State, which is the rightful owner.”
