Former President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe is dead.

He died in the early hours of Friday, September 6th, 2019 at the age of 95.

For those who don’t know, Robert Mugabe was the longest-serving president of Zimbabwe.

He was forced to resign in 2017 following protracted intraparty crisis and was succeeded by his deputy, Emmerson Mnangagwa.
