Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule has been impeached by loyalists of Governor Simi Fubara.

The governor’s loyalist, Hon. Edison Ehie has emerged as the new Speaker.

Also, the state Chief Judge, Justice Simeon Amadi has been suspended.

Besides, insiders said that all the Local Goverment Chairmen in the state have equally been sacked by the governor.
