Nigeria’s former Minister of Justice and Attorney-General, Chief Richard Akinjide (SAN) is dead.

The legal luminary died in his Ibadan, Oyo State abode. He died at the age of 88.

For those who don’t know, Chief Richard Akinjide was a Minister of Education in the first republic, during the government of Prime Minister, Alhaji Tafawa Balewa and Minister for Justice in the second republic, during the administration of President Shehu Shagari.
