Prophet T.B Joshua Exclusive: “Only God Knows True Pastors”

Prophet T.B JoshuaIt was a Friday afternoon around 3pm as I drove into the premises of the Synagogue Church of All Nations; I could see massive construction works going on here and there.

There is the particular wonderful four- storey building under construction. Workers were working as they had instructions to complete the house as soon as possible. I heard it’s a VIP house for visiting presidents to the church as the man of God  receives several presidents regularly.

As soon as I parked my car, I reported at the security house that I have an appointment to see the man of God at 3pm, Chris, one of his European aides came to pick me up within five minutes to see the prophet. I have already known Chris for years in the course of my visiting the prophet.

So, he was a familiar face to me but just that he has added more weight and looking older. Well, I entered the church, went through some passages and landed at the Prophet’s outer office. I saw a retinue of his aides-Nigerians, Europeans and nationals of other countries from other parts of the world.

I was offered a seat but before I could settle into the chair, the prophet asked them to usher me into his presence. There, he was seated at his simple office wearing a light blue T-shirt and black shorts. He smiled and shook my hands and said “Ejiro, you are welcome, how is Top Celebrities Magazine doing and your family”. Nothing much has changed about Prophet T.B Joshua from our last meeting few months ago except some strings of grey hair in his moustache.

A small bottle of Eva water was on his table and his mobile phone hung on the wall close to where he is seated.

It is just a simple office that reveals the simplicity of the prophet.

Why is it that some pastors talked rubbish about you?

“You see my brother, only God knows those pastors that are worshipping him in truth and spirit. Let them say whatever they like about me, I’m not bothered anymore, after all when our Lord Jesus Christ came to this world, he was persecuted by his own people. But one thing I want people to know is that T.B Joshua has been consistent in the past years. In spite of all the criticisms and persecution from some pastors and people, I have been making progress in this ministry.

I have never gone backward or fallen by the wayside. It’s only those that are of the true God that can stand the test of time, anyone from the devil cannot stand the persecution that I have faced over the years”. Why are you so humble?

He smiled and said “I am only a servant of God; why should I be proud and arrogant?. When Jesus Christ came to this world; was he proud to people?.

He healed the sick and fed the poor and was always preaching to the people. He was always with the people. Any pastor that is proud and arrogant is not following Jesus Christ”.

“You see, some people are deceiving themselves but they cannot deceive God. They will say they don’t like women, when they see a woman’s buttocks, they shout, I bind you in Jesus name but when they are alone in their rooms, they will be thinking of the woman they saw on the road hours ago. Who are they deceiving? Can they deceive God? Some would say they don’t drink alcohol but in their rooms, they drink like fish. Is God not seeing them? We should worship God in truth and in spirit?

“Nigerians should be thinking of what they can do to help themselves and think less of what government can do for them.

These present politicians are worse and more dangerous than those past politicians. These present ones can do anything to get power and they are rich and powerful. They have their own radio stations, newspapers, television stations and magazines. If you say something they don’t like, they will reply you in their own media houses, they are even stronger and have wider reach”.

In this ministry, journalists are very important to me because I cannot do it alone. Everywhere I go to in this world, media houses have been supporting me. My stories have been published in The Economist, New Africa, Mali Guardian and other frontline media in the world. Even when Jesus Christ came, he had disciples because he could not do it alone.

Synangogue ChurchSo, I am very grateful to journalists in the countries that I have visited for partnering with the Synagogue Church of All Nations in doing the work of God”.
