Popular musician, Portable (Habeeb Okikiola) is in hot soup.

The singer has been remanded in prison following his arraignment at the Federal High Court in Ota, Ogun State.
Portable was on Monday charged with nine counts bordering on assault, theft, causing harm, and resisting arrest, according to Ogun State Police spokesperson, Oluseyi Babaseyi.
He was arraigned after a viral video showed him in police custody over a complaint filed by his baby mama, Ashabi Simple.
The prosecution alleged that Portable assaulted Ashabi, several police officers, and others at his bar in Iyana Ilogbo on New Year’s Day. Other alleged victims include Ileyemi Damilola, Akinyanju Oluwabusayomi, Olowu Olumide, Demilade Ogunniyi, and Ebuka Odah.
Portable is also accused of stealing a Mercedes-Benz E300 valued at N12 million, belonging to Ileyemi and reportedly bought from Wally Dex Auto.
Two of Ashabi’s siblings testified as witnesses, though Ashabi herself was absent. The police further accused Portable of assaulting and obstructing a female police inspector, Ogungbe Olayemi, during official duty.
The presiding judge denied Portable bail due to the absence of the allegedly assaulted officer in court and ordered his remand. A fresh bail hearing was scheduled for January 19, 2026.
