Popular musician, Portable has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command over alleged debt.
The singer was arrested on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024 for allegedly refusing to pay the debt he incurred when he purchased his G-Wagon from a car dealer.
Our sources said Portable paid N13 million after purchasing the vehicle worth N27 million and refused to pay the N14 million balance.
According to sources, the singer’s action led to the car dealer involving the police, which led to his arrest.
However, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, said:
“Portable has been arrested. He bought G-Wagon for N27m, paid N13m, and refused to pay the rest, claiming the vehicle was bad. We arrested him today.”
