Nigeria movie industry was thrown into mourning on Thursday, June 13th, 2019 as popular Yoruba actor, Dagunro, (Fasasi Olabanke) is dead.
The news of his demise was announced by fellow actor, Adekola Tijani via his Instagram page. He wrote.
“Gone too soon boss!!! May your soul rest in peace. Love you boss but God loves you most.💔💔💔💔 Dagunro Alajiga Ogun… RIPP.”
For those who don’t know, Danguro had been in the movie industry for over a decade. He starred in movies such as Iboji; Akoni Méfà and Omo Inu Oku as far as back as 2008. He was known for his roles in epic Yoruba movies.
