A photographer, Smith Ejeh and his wife, Grace have revealed how a policeman called Ogunsanya attached to Ikoyi Police Division, Lagos tortured them. The couple said they were in a taxi going home when the policeman wielding a riffle stopped the taxi driver at Lekki Roundabout, Lagos and asked the driver to open his boot which he did. He demanded for his driving license and while the driver was bringing it out, the policeman now pointed his torchlight at them where they sat at the back seat of the taxi.
Ejeh Smith said his wife now told the policeman not to point his torchlight on them since the taxi inner light was on. He added the policeman now asked them to come down and he started punching him. When his wife begged the policeman to stop, he slapped her several times and rained several blows on her and dragged her on the road. The wife added that the policeman equally stepped on her tummy. DSP Kenneth Nwosu, Lagos State PPR confirmed the incident.
