Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has now picked a running mate.

Peter Obi on Friday, June 8th, 2022 unveiled Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed as his running mate for the 2023 presidential election.

Obi said; “Baba-Ahmed is eminently qualified to bring his private sector and academic achievements to bear in the drive to rescue Nigeria from the primitive politics of ethnicity.”

“The party will anchor its manifesto in the coming days on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).”

Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed is a Nigerian economist and politician who served as Senator for Kaduna North from 2011 to 2012 and a member of the House of Representatives from 2003 to 2007.
