Africa Movies Academy Awards (AMAA) founder, Peace Anyiam-Osigwe is dead.

The popular filmmaker died on Monday, January 9th, 2022 at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos after a brief illness.

Her colleague, Obi Emelonye who also comfirmed her demise, took to his Instagram page and wrote:

“Thank you and good night dada Peace.”

For those who don’t know, Ayiam-Osigwe was the President of the Association of Movie Producers (AMP).
