Barely 48 hours after the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the 2023 governorship election in Lagos State, Jandor (Abdul-Azeez Adediran) dumped the party like a bad habit, its leaders are now begging him to reconsider his decision.

We gathered the PDP National Secretary, Mr Ude Okoye led the party leaders to visit Jandor following his shocking resignation.

Jandor’s spokesman, Gbenga Ogunleye disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024.

Ogunleye said: “The National Secretary of the PDP, Ude Okoye; former National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan; and ex-House of Representatives member, Shina Peller, visited Adediran.”

“They urged him to reconsider his resignation and return to the PDP.”

For those who don’t know, Jandor announced his resignation from PDP on Monday, March 3rd, 2025 over what he described as betrayal by party elders and the Party’s inability to resolve its internal crisis in Lagos State.
