The cold war between Dame Patience Jonathan, First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and wife of the president elect, Hajia Aisha Buhari which started as a result of the hate campaign speeches during the presidential campaign seems not to be over. Those in the know said the First Lady has concluded plans to host the 8th edition of the African First Ladies Peace Mission on May 15th 2015 to elect new executives so that Aisha Buhari won’t have the chance of becoming the president of the mission. Dame Patience Jonathan is the current President of the Mission and she has served for four years. However, her loyalists are saying that her tenure ended in 2014 and she ought to have handed-over to another person if not for the presidential election. So, she just wants to do a smooth handover before leaving Aso Rock Villa.
