Osinbajo Speaks On Otedola’s N5 Billion Donation

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has reacted to Femi Otedola’s N5billion donation to the Save the Children Foundation.

Osinbajo who was the Special Guest of Honour at the launch of the billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola’s daughter, Florence Otedola’s Cuppy Foundation, said;

“No one will ever remember the number of houses, or cash that one has, but the impact one makes. The likes of Bill Gate, Dangote and now Femi Otedola, understand the importance of living an impactful life and that is why they have turned their wealth and resources to help people and solve huge problems.”

“I commend Otedola for donating the huge amount, his kind gesture has further demonstrated his commitment to the poor and less privileged in the society.”

“I also thank DJ Cuppy for spearheading the initiative, she is making impact in a very important way.”

For those who don’t know, DJ Cuppy launched her Cuppy Foundation on Sunday, November 10th, 2019 at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja.

DJ Cuppy’s Foundation is partnering Save the Children Foundation to give succour to children in the North East.

It is interesting to know that DJ Cuppy is a board ambassador for Save the Children and a member of the organisation’s Africa Advisory Board.

Save the Children Foundation is a 100-year old United Kingdom-based charity, which is the biggest children-focused organisation in the world after UNICEF.
