Former Govenor of Abia State and publisher of The Sun and New Telegraph newspaper, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, has registered his investment savvy in the hospitality business.

The billionaire politician is set to widen his business scope as he is reportedly erecting Hotels in Lagos and other major cities in Nigeria.

The Forbes rated money man has started building the hotels under the brand name “Sun Heavens Hotels & Resort’. They are situated in areas such as Lekki, Ikoyi, Asokoro, Gudu, Umuahia and Enugu.

The Victoria Island arm of the hotel, according to insiders will be open for business this month.

Orji Kalu who is the founder of Slok Group, has business interests in media, shipping, oil and gas, telecommunications and diverse areas. He was recently rated by Forbes as the fourth riches Nigerian and one of the 50 richest Africans.
