The Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jumoke Akindele is in fresh trouble. Insiders disclosed to us that the Speaker whom her fellow lawmakers impeached and reinstated after the intervention of Gov. Olusegun Mimiko seems to have jumped from fry pan to fire.

We gathered that some lawmakers are now asking questions about how she padded the state budget the governor presented to the House from N118.99 billion to N123.99 billion. Simply put, they are saying that she allegedly added N5 billion to the original figure of N118.99 billion and it was quickly passed into law by the House.

Furthermore, these lawmakers revealed that the Speaker conspired with the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Fatai Olotu and Hon. Ade Adeniyi to pad the budget with the huge sum of N5 billion.
