Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale has dumped Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State after losing his re-election bid.

The controversial king has congratulated the governor-elect, Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Oluwo said: “I congratulate the Osun State Governor elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke on his victory at the keenly contested poll. He has demonstrated an uncommon courage, tenacity to have survived many hurdles. His life is a lesson for many aspiring youths. There is always reward for hardwork”

“I look forward to having an Iwo man as the Osun State Governor if God permits! I pray for divine wisdom, courage and understanding for Senator Ademola Adeleke to effectively manage Osun State affairs.”

For those who don’t know, the monarch had promised Governor Oyetola before the election that he would deliver 90,000 votes for him.
