Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III has sacked Chief Ayirimi Emami as Ologbotsere (traditional prime minister) of Warri kingdom.

Ogiame Atuwatse III disclosed this during a meeting with descendants of the Ologbotsere family at his palace in Warri South Council Area of Delta State on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021.

Chief Mena Brown announced the derobing of Ayiri on behalf of the Olu of Warri at the meeting. The king has instructed Itsekiri people to stop addressing Ayiri Emami as the Ologbotsere of Warri kingdom.
