Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State opened up on the rumoured bitter quarrel between him and former Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan recently. The medical doctor turned politician disclosed that Dr. Uduaghan has been his friend since 1998 and they were in government working together for years.

The governor revealed that the former governor calls him frequently to offer him advice and they still have a very cordial relationship despite the rumours in town that they are enemies. He added that there are no issues between them as the former governor also visited him recently and the wife has equally visited him twice at the Government House, Asaba.

That’s not all, he added that those peddling the terrible rumour around that they went to London to see former Governor James Ibori to settle their quarrel for them should stop spreading such rumour.
