Okowa Commends Mudi

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has commended the Creative Director of Mudi Africa, Mudiaga Enajemo (Mudi) for renovating the famous Post office Junction Round About in Ughelli, headquarters of Ughelli North Local Government, Delta State.

“I am happy that Mudiaga Enajemo (Mudi) chose to give back to his community in such a beautiful way. The beauty of the structures and will impact positively on this environment and the state at large.”

“I am calling on all sons and daughters of the state who are successful in their different areas of life to emulate Mudi in bringing back development and support to the state.”

“I am assuring Mudi and the people of the state of my government’s eagerness to partner with the private sector in our continued push for infrastructural development of the State.”

Mudi, thanking the governor said that most successful people sit in their comfort zones in Abuja, Lagos and cities in Nigeria forgetting the communities where they come from…

“Some people preferred to spend holidays in Europe, America or Dubai where they spend millions of naira. But they can use that money to sink boreholes in their villages. So, I am calling on others to always remember to give back to their communities instead of spending their money abroad.”

“This renovation is my own little way of giving back to my community and marking 25th Anniversary of Mudi as a Fashion Brand and celebrating my 50th birthday.”
