Ex-Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has been granted bail by a Federal High Court.

The lawmaker was granted bail by Justice Inyang Ekwo in the sum of N500 million on Tuesday, May 31st, 2022.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had arraigned him on a 17-count charge of fraud.

The EFCC accused the lawmaker of diverting public properties worth N2.9 billion while he was a governor.
