The UPP chieftain has slammed the number one citizen of Imo State… “If there is any political hustler in Igboland, Okorocha is number one, because in the last 19 years, Okorocha has defected to more than five political parties and formed one.”

“I remember in 2002, when I offered him participation in APGA when we were registered, he described the party as a small one which will not achieve much. Nine years after, in 2011, Okorocha used that APGA to become governor. In between that he had been to UNPP, formed a party called AA and later abandoned it.”

“He has been the greatest political hustler I have ever known, and I am surprised this pot is now calling the kettle black. He is not a good ambassador of the Igbo people.”

“Since the state was created, it has never happened anywhere in Nigeria, except in North Korea, where somebody like Okorocha, will have the benefit of a two term of eight years in office and still desires that his son-in-law will succeed him, and he has no scruples at all in pursuing this plan openly.”

“If you remember, when he went to contest for the presidency in 2015, he gave this same son-in-law the governorship ticket to hold on for him in case he lost the presidential nomination. When he failed, the young man stepped down for him in a very funny arrangement they made around the Electoral Act. That was why he wants to reward him he wants him as governor, so that his daughter will be first lady. So what else qualifies anyone to be a hustler? If anyone will accuse the Igbos of anything it is failure to go for the presidency since the end of the civil war.”

“I don’t know why Okorocha takes delight in denigrating his people and insulting them in the manner he does. But Okorocha can never in the true sense of the word be described as a political success. If there is any political hustler in Igboland, Okorocha is number one, because he has hustled to any political party ever available.”
