Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Kunle Oluomo has been impeached.

In his place, Hon. Oludaisi Elemide has been appointed as the new speaker.

For those who don’t know, the speaker has been enmeshed in allegations ranging from financial fraud to leadership tussle at the state assembly.

Sources said that Oluomo’s impeachment may not be unconnected to the allegations against him.
