Former Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has been released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on bail.

EFCC boss, Abdulrasheed Bawa said:

“Former Anambra State Governor, Wille Obiano who was arrested on March 17 while attempting to travel to the US has been granted an administrative bail but he is yet to meet his bail conditions.”

“Nothing political about Obiano’s arrest. He has been granted bail. But we await when he fulfils his bail conditions.”
