Popular  Nigerian musician, Obesere has escaped death by whiskers. 

The fuji singer was reportedly attacked by thugs in Ondo State where he performed on Friday.

The incident occurred during his performance at a burial ceremony held at the Government Field in Okitipupa.

The thugs we gathered stormed the venue without warning and unleashed violence on the singer and his band members as guests scamper for safety.

Sources squealed to us that Obasere’s manager who attempted to shield the singer was stabbed with a broken bottle.

According to sources valuables such as mobile phone, wristwatch and gold chain were stolen along with a bag containing money.

An eye witness said: “I attended the event on Friday. It was truly a disgraceful act. A gang of local thugs attacked Obesere and his band while they were performing on the stage.”
