Oba Gbolahan Lawal, Oniru of Iruland is in fresh crisis as one of the four branches of the Abisogun ruling house in Oniru Royal family in Victoria Island, Lagos Omowunmi Abisogun on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, stormed the Lagos House in Alausa, Ikeja protesting and demanding for his immediate dethronement.

Alhaji Durosinmi Etti who led some members of the Omowunmi Abisogun family on the peaceful protest said;

“Oba Gbolahan Lawal is from Akapo descent and I am sure he’s from Akapo. The person that was there that he said he doesn’t know, he knows him very well. His name is Fatai. He was the one that birthed Wasiu and we don’t know him.”

“We are sons of Oniru and not from Ojora in Victoria Island. In his father’s and mother’s root, none of them have affiliation with us. When we heard that they impose someone on us. The person that imposed him on us, God knows him.”

“Then we told them that we don’t want him and they called me to bribe me with money but I rejected it. We can’t accept or allow an outsider to become king in our land and that’s why we want him removed. All our children are being molested in Oniru Estate, they are fighting and collecting phones from them.”
