Nnamdi Kanu Released From Prison

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) and director of Radio Biafra has been released from Kuje prison, Abuja after spending about two years in detention.

Prison sources disclosed to us that he left the prison not too long ago after fulfilling his bail conditions. A Federal High Court in Abuja, citing concerns about Mr. Kanu’s health, granted bail to the separatist agitator on stringent conditions. Senator Enyinnaya Harcourt Abaribe was one of those who signed as surety for him.
