Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has been arrested.

The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN) disclosed this on Tuesday, June 29th, 2021.

According to Malami, Kanu was arrested and brought back to Nigeria on Sunday by a collaborative effort between Nigerian security agencies and Interpol.

Malami said Kanu would be taken before the Federal High Court in Abuja for the continuation of his trial on charges bordering on terrorism, treasonable felony, unlawful possession of firearms and management of an unlawful society
