NIPR Condoles Lagos State Government Over The Death Of Deji Tinubu

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Lagos State Branch, has commiserated with the Lagos State Government over the death of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives, Mr. Deji Tinubu.

In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Branch, Mr. Olusegun Mcmedal, the Institute described the death of the former Special Adviser as “a rude shock”, but urged the government to draw strength from the legacy he left behind.

“We are mindful of the legacy he left behind in private, corporate and public services”.

“He was indeed a respected sports analyst and administrator and will surely be missed”, the statement said.

Mr. Deji Tinubu died in Lagos on Thursday, 25th January 2018 while attending a retreat organised for Senior Public Servants and was buried in Lagos on Tuesday January 30th, 2018.
