These are not the best of times for Haruna Baba Jauro, Acting Director-General of Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) as his workers have accused him of nepotism by employing his biological daughter, Mrs. Cynthia James and son in-law, Mr. James.

That is not all, the workers are saying that after employing them, he posted them to Port Harcourt for two months and later transferred husband and wife to Abuja office of NIMASA and paid them N4.8million as allowances. They added that his daughter and husband were employed on grade level 13 and 12 which is far above their qualifications.

Besides, the workers revealed that they have not been paid August and September salary, yet, the Director-General paid N4.8million to his daughter and son in-law.
