A socio-political group, NdokwaForward, has extended New Year greetings to the people of Ndokwa Nation and Delta State, expressing optimism and renewed hope in the leadership of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as the state steps into 2026.

In a New Year message titled “Keeping Hope Alive Under Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s Leadership,” the group, in a statement signed by Hon. (Barr.) Sam Osasa, Dr. George Ugbomah and Chief Isaac Onyesom on behalf of NdokwaForward, wished Ndokwa people and Deltans a prosperous 2026.
The group commended Governor Oborevwori for what it described as purposeful, people-centred and impactful governance across Delta State, noting that there have been visible improvements in Ndokwa Land.
NdokwaForward said the strides recorded in infrastructural development, inclusive governance and responsive policies in Ndokwa areas were clear indications of the Governor’s commitment to balanced development and his resolve to ensure that no part of the state is left behind.
It also praised the Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, acknowledging his supportive and stabilising role in the administration, and noting that his dedication and loyalty have continued to strengthen governance and boost public confidence.
According to the group, the current direction of governance under Governor Oborevwori provides the people of Ndokwa with strong reasons to remain hopeful, as it inspires confidence in a future marked by greater progress, prosperity and unity.
While admitting that challenges still exist, NdokwaForward said the Governor has consistently demonstrated the vision, capacity and sincerity required to confront such challenges and deliver lasting solutions for the benefit of Deltans.
The group further called on the people of Ndokwa to sustain their support for the Oborevwori administration, stressing that cooperation, constructive engagement and collective goodwill are crucial to consolidating the gains already recorded and unlocking more development for Ndokwa Land and Delta State at large.
The message urged citizens to remain steadfast in their belief in good governance and to work collectively towards building a stronger and more prosperous Ndokwa Nation and Delta State.
