Popular GSM company, MTN is in fresh scandal. Senator Dino Melaye has accused the company of taking $13.92 billion illegally out of Nigeria. The Kogi State born lawmaker dropped the bombshell on the floor of the Senate recently and boasted that he has concrete evidence to buttress his allegation. He even promised to provide his evidence against MTN to every senator in the next sitting of the Senate.

That’s not all, the lawmaker revealed that MTN took the huge sum of money out of Nigeria with the connivance of a serving minister in this administration and he promised to expose both MTN and the minister to Nigerians.

However, Ferdi Moolman, the CEO of MTN Nigeria has reacted to the allegation…“The allegations made against MTN are completely unfounded and without any merit”.
