Famous actress, Mercy Aigbe is in hot soup. She is now being attacked over her comment on Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s post on Instagram.

The screen star simply wrote; “My Governor” below Governor Sanwo-Olu’s post. However, Nigerians have been lambasting her on social media with derisive comments like, “leave Sanwo-Olu alone”, “Face front and let our governor perform, don’t give him bad luck, let it end with Ambode”, “Hope you are not aiming for this as well”, etc.

Some went as far as insinuating that the actress is trying to get attract the new governor’s attention in order to begin an affair with him.

For those who don’t know, the actress was rumoured to be having an affair with immediate past Governor Akinwumi Ambode after her announcement on social media that she had just built a new duplex, led to a social media backlash in her direction, with many insisting that it was Ambode who built her the house.
