Major Shake Up In Canada Diocese, C.C.C: New Appointments Announced

There has been a major re-organisation in the hierarchy and administrative structure of the Canada Diocese of the Celestial Church of Christ, with the appointments of a new Head of Diocese, a new Patron and Regional Heads for Western and Eastern Canada. Also, the Celestial Church of Christ, Ayo Mother Parish (Diocese Headquarters), Toronto, Canada, has been elevated to the status of an Arch Diocese and would report directly to the Office of the Pastor and Spiritual Head, C.C.C. W/w, Celestial City, Imeko, Ogun State.

The re-structuring of the Canada Diocese, Celestial Church of Christ, is an off-shoot of a meeting between major stakeholders of the Diocese and the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, during his recent pastoral visit to Canada.

The new appointees are as follows:

  • Venerable Superior Evangelist Rufus Adeoba – Head of Canada Diocese, C.C.C.
  • Venerable Superior Evangelist Joseph Ojegele – Patron, Canada Diocese, C.C.C.
  • Venerable Superior Evangelist Kunle Lawal – Shepherd in Charge, C.C.C. Ayo Mother Parish, Arch Diocese, Toronto, Canada.
  • Venerable Superior Evangelist Michael Bakare – Regional Head, Western Canada
  • Venerable Superior Evangelist Charles Njie – Regional Head, Eastern Canada

The former Head of Canada Diocese, Venerable Superior Evangelist Ogunboye, has been directed to report at the Office of the Pastor and Spiritual Head, C.C.C. W/w, Celestial City, Imeko, Ogun State, for further directives and the regularisation of his anointment status.

All appointments take immediate effect.
