On Monday 4th January 2016, friends, relations and Associates gathered in Umuopia Akokwa to pay respect to Late Madam Edith Udunma  Ojiekwe (General) nee Obinali who was interred after a requiem mass at Christ Anglican Church Umuopia Akokwa. The deceased is the mother of Chief C.C. Ojiekwe, Ezinne Sarah Offor and Chief Israel Candidate Ojiekwe, Chairman, Golden Destiny Hotel Group, Lagos.
