Ekiti State House of Assembly member, Honourable Micheal Adedeji who was shot in the head by gunmen on Friday, October 26, 2018 is dead.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Publicity Secretary, Jackson Adebayo confirmed this on Monday, October 29, 2018… “The lawmaker died at the Federal Medical Center, Ido Ekiti, early this morning.”

For those who don’t know, the deceased was waylaid last week Friday while he was traveling along Ikere-Akure Road as the gunmen opened fire at him thereby shooting him on the head as he was not lucky enough to escape the shooting.

He was immediately rushed to the Accident and Emergency Unit of Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH) for intensive care and was later referred to Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti (FETHI) where he was undergoing surgery before he kicked the bucket.
