For Ndigbo in Lagos, our push for a new dawn, for a secure and peaceful business environment will further be cemented by voting and returning our dear governor, His Excellency, Babajide Sanwo-Olu to office for second term.
With the overwhelming voting strength of the Igbo in Lagos, it is incumbent upon us to wield it wisely and this is by voting Governor Sanwo-Olu.
His Excellency, Governor Sanwo-Olu is the proverbial bird at hand. Why don’t we hold tightly to the bird we already have at hand instead of chasing illusion thus allowing the bird to fly away?
Why futility aiming at another bird when the one we have at hand is worth more than a thousand on tree branches?
Come Saturday, March 11, 2023, millions of Igbo in Lagos owe it a duty to themselves put into play Ako na uche (wisdom) in approaching voting centres.
I’m of the firm opinion that Sanwo-Olu, a tested and trusted friend of the Igbo; humble, fair, accessible and not magisterial, will serve and protect Igbo interest better.
To this end, I’m fervently appealing to millions of Ndigbo resident in Lagos to troop out enmass on Saturday, March 11, 2023 to vote Governor Sanwo-Olu.
A vote for his return for second term is a vote for continued conducive business atmosphere for the Igbo in Lagos, continued prosperity of our people and above all, continued friendliness of our esteemed hosts.
For us, Ndigbo in Lagos, the business friendly policies of the Sanwo-Olu administration, has remained a fertile ground for quantum accomplishments and success in various strata of human endeavour.
We in turn have also immeasurably contributed to the socio-economic growth of Lagos through investments in commerce, production, real estate etc.
The socio-political and economic well-being of Ndigbo in Lagos as well as peaceful cohabitation of all Lagos residents irrespective of tribe have always underpinned Governor Sanwo-Olu policy. As a people with deep sense of justice, we cannot but reciprocate this immeasurable gesture through our votes.
He is the man suitable enough for the job, let’s return him to office.
Let me also use this medium to congratulate the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory in the just concluded presidential election.
Our in-coming President is an icon, a talent hunter, an achiever and pathfinder who at all times strive for good and progress of his fatherland. For him, the love of fatherland and serving it selflessly transcend all other love and service.
Asiwaju’s victory in the presidential election signposts a country-wide acceptance of a man who knows what to do to fix Nigeria.
It is to the glory of God that he emerged Nigeria’s President at a time our country is in dire need of his wealth of experience as an administrator per excellence.
As a die-hard disciple of Asiwaju, it is a giving, and I have an unwavering belief that as a soldier of democracy who has seen it all, my mentor, father and boss, the great Jagaban of Africa will lead Nigeria to the path of glory and prosperity.
Indeed, for our dear country, Nigeria, a refreshing new dawn, a new vista for is here because these are what the great Jagaban of Africa represents.
