A lady car snatcher, Mitchel Harold has been arrested. She drugged her medical doctor lover, Daniel Biyi and stole his car. Sources told us that:
“Harold and the medical doctor checked into the hotel in Ojodu Berger, around 5.30pm on Thursday, 9th February, 2017. The woman, after settling down, went out to get a bottle of malt drink and yoghurt, while the doctor went to take his bath. When he finished from the bathroom, he met the drinks on the table, took them and slept off.”
Daniel Biyi revealed that: “I slept from 6pm till around 2pm of the following day. When I woke up, my laptop, car key and phone were gone. I rushed straight to meet the receptionist and the gate man to ask them what was going on. That was when I realised my car had been stolen too. They told me that someone came to pick the car, and she said she was going to get food. I reported the case to the Omole police Station after I discovered that Harold, who gave me the name, ‘Aisha Ibrahim’ and also dropped fake phone numbers.”
The police added that a generator repairer, Gbenga Adesanya, whom the suspect engaged to drive the stolen vehicle from the hotel, and the car dealer, Mukoro Okpako, were arrested in the course of investigation.
Gbenga Adesanya confessed that: “I was introduced to her in 2016 by the car dealer, who is also her elder brother. I was told she needed a good driver to take cars to Warri. I later met her in Ajah where she asked me to take a Toyota Camry to Sapele. She paid me N16,000 for the job. About four months later, she told me to drive a Honda Accord from GRA, Ikeja, to get fuel from her brother at Wawa, Ogun State. I got the fuel and returned the car to her. She gave me N5,000.”
“The last vehicle was the one that created this problem. Although I have been wondering where she was getting the cars, she told me that she hired them from Delta State whenever she came to Lagos. I didn’t know she steals cars.”
