Dr. Kayode Fayemi, Minister of Mines and Steel Development is in hot soup as Members of the House of Representatives have passed a vote of no confidence on him.

The lawmakers declared him unfit to occupy a portfolio in public office, following the non appearance of the minister to the sectoral debate on the revival of moribund Ajaokuta Steel Company holding Thursday March 1st, 2018.
The members described his non appearance as a contempt to the House and executive recklessness.
