The ‘Special One’ as Jose Mourinho is well known has been sacked by Manchester United Football Club. Mourinho has been fired as manager after two and a half years in charge of the ‘Red Devils’.
According to the club’s statement; “A caretaker-manager will be appointed until the end of the season while the club conducts a thorough recruitment process for a new, full-time manager.”
“The club would like to thank Jose for his work during his time at Manchester United and to wish him success in the future.”
However, the veteran coach has done one of the feared club in England more harm than good, when he allowed his ego to have a better part of him by adamantly leaving his best players in the bench, thereby placing Manchester United on sixth position in the Premier League table and 19 points behind table leaders, Liverpool who also added more woes to the club by beating them 3-1 on Sunday, December 16, 2018.
Mourinho has lost five times in 17 matches.
