Just like every offspring of humble background, Jimoh Ibrahim, struggled to survive. As he grew up and became exposed, his struggle for survival soon became a determination for success and he was able to cut a clear picture of what he wanted to do. He worked on his vision while he was an undergraduate at Obafemi Awolowo University and before anyone knew it, Jimoh had created a path for himself and success became imminent as things started working out for him. How the controversy-loving personality made it big is now history as Jimoh Ibrahim, today ranks among the money bags in Nigeria.
To further fulfill his dream in life, the Igbotako-born Jimoh tried his hands in the governorship race of his state, Ondo, on the platform of ANPP, but his war chest could not do the magic for him as real political gladiators shoved him aside when it was time for real battle.

After his failed outing in 2003, the man behind Global Fleet went back to the drawing board and part of the strategies he came up with was to pitch his tent with the ruling party, to which he has been contributing his quota at the state level.  From what is on ground, the bulky businessman may have made up his mind to give another shot at the coveted seat of number one man in Ondo State come 2016, as he has earnestly started his awareness campaign. It is clear that he’s interested in succeeding the incumbent governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko.

As part of his activities, Jimoh, some days ago staged a conference for politicians in Ondo State, where modalities of how to turn the state around was the theme. The event which had Chief Olu Agbi, as the chairman was held in Ile- Ife, Osun State. Apart from this, many vehicles plying the roads in the Sunshine state now have the inscription of Jimoh Ibrahim’s gubernatorial ambition.
